Guest ID Verification sends every confirmed Lodgify booking a link to upload a passport or national ID and take a live selfie. The check runs through a certified KYC provider (Onfido or Veriff — your choice) and, once it passes, the module releases the smart-lock code you have configured in Lodgify's guest messaging. If the check fails, you get an email and can decide whether to still proceed manually.
The module integrates with your Lodgify account via the official Lodgify Public API using your Lodgify login. It reads guest email and check-in dates; it writes the verified status back as a booking note so your team can see at a glance who is cleared. ID documents are never stored on our side — they live on the KYC provider only, per RGPD.
